We tend to blame an unforeseeable change in <em>external<\/em> factors. We don&#8217;t attribute it to the factors within\u00a0<em>ourselves\u00a0<\/em>such as intelligence, personality, or expertise.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">&#8220;Psychologists describe this dichotomy as the <strong>Fundamental Attribution Error<\/strong>.
